These earrings were mde from single french stamp, issued in 1978 in honor of Henri Matisse’s Blue Nudes series. This series was made from cut-outs depicting nude figures in various positions. Unable to tand at an easel after his surgery for stomach cancer, Matisse began creating art by cutting and painting sheets of paper by hand. Paired with Czech crystal.
