Mongolian postage stamps were issued in 2000 to celebrate the year of the dragon. The dragons are so finely drawn, you can see their scales, and the stamps end up looking like porcelain. Trimmed in periwinkle faux crystal, light as a feather.
Monique Weston Jewelry
She creates remarkable jewelry from antique and vintage architectural elements, including hinges, keyholes, chandelier parts and doorbells. She searches high and low for castoff pieces of the past, then reinvent them. She frames them in classical jewelry settings, to highlight their hidden and often unintended beauty. The result is a striking and adventurous synthesis of industrial strength and glamour.
